FINALLY. :)
My favorite police show, since HILL STREET
BLUES, has returned. The above pic of the
lead actress, Missy Peregrym, is from a 2010
copy of HELLO Magazine [Canadian Edition]

The writers still have control of the show's
mix of realism & drama. Drama is a condi-
ment, like salt and pepper. Without it, you've
just got a documentary wannabe.

Only ONCE did I feel cheated. :) After the
crisis of this episode's story was over, Andy
could not wait to thank Sam for saving the
day, and her life [and Nick's, too - the two of
them coming close to being executed by
drug dealers, who had finally smelled two
undercover cops! :) ]
But, of course, this pleasant scene in the
precinct's kitchen was not to be, since Andy
discovers Sam & his NEW girlfriend, another
rookie.
I've got to trust the writers - and, I do. BUT,
I would've liked the scene to play out as
follows:
The article in HELLO magazine informs us that
Missy Peregrym is a passionate soccer player.
I'm sure that many ROOKIE BLUE fans have
learned this fact, one way or another. So, it's
safe to say that Missy is a very competitive
person.
And, what does Missy do when faced with a
player on an opposing team who's just as
fierce a player as her? Does Peregrym walk
off the field, dejected? I don't think so.:)
Rather, she sees the competition as...an
intriguing challenge. THERE'S NOTHING
QUITE LIKE A CLOSE GAME. :)

I would've like to see Andy discreetly back
out of the kitchen, as soon as she discovered
Sam and girlfriend lost in embrace. Go back
to her locker and change out of those clothes
that she's been wearing while undercover, and
freshen up a bit. In other words, put her
GAME FACE on.:)
And then, after NEW GIRLFRIEND leaves the
precinct kitchen, Andy strolls in and thanks
Sam for, essentially, saving her life. [Never
letting on what she's just seen; never showing
how much she's hurting]
This scene would be a complex acting
challenge, for sure. But Missy would be up
to it. She's come a long way from the teen-
ager who couldn't stop laughing during her
first photo shoot.
