SORRY, STEPHEN

    IN LIFE...

    like to believe..."

Not sure about the grammar, but this
philosopher may have a point.  [In the
interest of full disclosure, a philosopher
did not say this; I did.] - years ago, when
I was in conversation with a former
high school math teacher of mine.  We had
met by chance, when I used to do a lot of
  walking around town.

I was trying to explain why I was out of
  work.  :)

Maybe our Prime Minister is thinking along
the lines of the above quote.  The past couple
of weeks must be the most disturbing of
his years as our leader.  I think that his
greatest political fear was that a fellow
Conservative might DO or SAY something
that could mortally wound his administration.

So, it must be bitterly ironic that decisions
that HE made [at the time, seemingly wise
ones - the selections of Senators], would
 come back to haunt him...

In a democracy, all governments have a
BEST BEFORE DATE.  Exactly what that is, is
never immediately obvious.  But now, this
 one's is:

  1. I'm a little cynical about all government parties, really.

Scandals are getting a little too commonplace. Disgusting!

IS THERE ANYONE HONEST OUT THERE?!?!?!?

And don't get me started on the Senate...................ugh!!!
