I tuned into this episode a bit late; half way through, okay, I forgot! Immediately, I see that this ROOKIE BLUE episode is unique:
The officers are out of their element; in nature, on vacation. I thought...a fresh, and daring departure for episodic television. Usually, when a TV character goes on vacation, they end up encountering roughly the same type of adventure that we are accustomed to seeing them in. E.g. QUINCY ends up investigating mysterious deaths, while attending a
convention.
When watching ROCKFORD FILES, I sometimes wished for a "vacation" episode, where we see the main character as tourist, say, in Nova Scotia!
